While we hope that there will be an actual marching show to happen during the delayed fall sports season in Spring 2021, we still wanted a shirt to represent this year, as different as it may be, in case that doesn’t end up happening. Over the 11 weeks that would have been the typical fall season, on Friday nights and 4 Saturdays, information on the scheduled “tour stops” were posted on the Band Boosters social media accounts. Most of these places are real, even if strangely named. I hope it gave everyone a little something to look forward to on those evenings when we would have been together enjoying making music. If some day in your future travels you happen to stop at any of these strangely named, out of the way places, I hope you will come back and share a picture or two of your time there.

With the start of the school year being all virtual, the Titan Marching Band was not allowed to get together until the first of the student cohorts began to return to in-person learning in the county’s school buildings at the beginning of October. Conditioning practices were limited to 50 people with everyone required to certify they were not sick, wear masks at all times, and remain socially distant throughout the practice. Dots were painted on the field at 5 yard intervals and band members used those as guides to remain the required distance apart. At the November 10 practice, they were finally allowed to play instruments and use flags. Sadly as of November 17, the COVID-19 cases continue to increase and the future of conditioning practices has become unsure with the governor decreasing the allowed gathering size to only 25 people.

2020-21 TMB Leadership Team

There were no band leaders picked for the 2020-21 year because of the hold on our performance season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Guard Captains for the 2020-21 year were Jeanelle Robledo, Brenna Staley, and Rebecca Gendron.
